- Home Star Solar, llc. wants you to be confident in purchasing your solar energy system. If at any time during the first 5 years, you are not completely satisfied with your Home Star Solar installed Solar Energy System, we will completely remove the system at our expense and reimburse you 100% of your cost less utility rebates, tax credits, and energy generated. Our only constraint is that the system is not physically damaged in any way.
- After 5 years your system will continue to have a 25 year limited warranty on the panels. This warranty ensures you that the panels will continue generating at least 80% of their rated power output for more than 25 years.
- Home Star Solar only uses established and well recognized brand name components in our installations. This ensures the manufacturers will be around to support these long term warranty promises.
- We highly recommend including monitoring software with your system purchase. This allows us to proactively monitor your systems performance during the 5-year warranty. If there is ever a problem HSS is automatically alerted and we will contact you to arrange a convenient service time to correct the problem.
- Home Star Solar installed energy systems are warranted for 5 years against defects in materials and workmanship only. While HSS solar energy systems are designed to withstand hail and 100+mph winds, we explicitly do not warranty ‘Acts of God’ or physical damage.
